* From Dan's Desk

Running a little late this month. My wife and I took a trip to North Carolina for 5 days, just to see the sites. Went to the Clemson/Duke football game, the Biltmore House, etc. A great time, even without golfing!

"You get to know more of the character of a man in a round of golf than in six months of political experience"

* Site Additions

Added a wonderful article on green creep written by Ronald W. Fream, of http://www.golfplan.com/ Green creep is a catchall phrase he uses to describe the inevitable alterations which emerge on every course. The focus of this article is on those alterations that are more or less naturally occurring as distinguished from greens committee action or periodic remodeling for design sake. A wonderful read, located at: http://www.golfprohelp.com/Articles/Do_You_Have_Green_Creep.asp
or to print it for offline reading, http://www.golfprohelp.com/Print/Articles/Do_You_Have_Green_Creep.asp

Added another helpful article from Kim J. Brown, PGA Master Professional and Director of Sales at e2egolf titled, "Cheap Marketing 'My Way'". The goal of this article is to offer the reader some suggestions about how to market their golf facility effectively using low or no cost technology tools that are available today. After reading it, I would say it definitely reaches it's goal. To read online:

and to print for offline reading,

Added a new category to the site, Golf Auctions. It is just starting out, but I'm sure it will fill up quickly. It is located at: http://www.golfprohelp.com/Miscellaneous/Golf_Auctions/index.asp
