As most of you know, my wife and I were going to England and Scotland for vacation. Unfortunately, because of the terrorist attacks, we decided not to go, and went to Atlanta to visit family instead. Kind of disappointed that I didn't get to play St. Andrews, but on the upside, I got my first hole-in-one at the Chateau Elan par three course in Braselton, Georgia!
The golf industry is responding to the tragedy of September 11 by asking golf courses and golfers across America to Unite for Disaster Relief, October 19-21.
This is an opportunity for golfers and the golf industry to contribute to the relief efforts. Participating golf courses across America will donate proceeds from rounds of golf played over the weekend of October 19-21 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
