Keyonix announces that it has added a cart usage and maintenance report to its existing accountability system. Access to this report will further enhance the efficiency of golf course operators. The Keyonix System replaces current cart ignition systems with its Smart Key System, similar to the electronic keys used in the past few years by the hotel industry. The Smart Key enables golf course owners, for the first time, to regulate and account for golf cart usage and cart related revenue, greatly reducing the possibility of somebody playing and not paying. For more info, please visit http://www.keyonix.net/

SoftBrands Hospitality, Inc., announces the launch of its highly sophisticated golf reservation system, SoftBrands GRS, designed to help golf course managers maximize tee-time yield and drive incremental revenue to their operations. For more, visit http://www.softbrands.com/

Pitch-In-Wedge.com has introduced a covered trash container that keeps trash from blowing out of the golf car and also keeps personal articles separated from trash. The book for March is Golf Nuts: You've Got to be Committed

Once bitten by the golf bug, golfers are at the mercy of the game and its supernatural powers. Golf Nuts: You’ve Got To Be Committed is an outgrowth of the founding of the Golf Nuts Society in 1986 by author Ron Garland. It is an in-depth recounting of the founding of the Society and an intimate look into the mind of the man (Garland) who started the most unique golf association in the world. For more information,

* The Big 6 with... OGIO
------------------------------------------------------------

1)Who: Who are you?
Recognized as a 2002 Inc. 500 company, OGIO International, Inc. is a leading sport bag designer and manufacturer known for its extreme-sport inspired designs, fabrics and colors. The privately held company, founded in 1987, distributes more than 400 products both nationally and internationally under the OGIO brand name, and operates an OEM division - known as OGIO Engineered - for other internationally known brands. The Utah- based company's collection includes an extensive line of golf bags, as well as back packs; snow, skate and sound packs; school packs; motocross bags; messenger bags; and other active gear.

2)What - What product/service do you provide to the golf community?
OGIO's 2003 golf bag collection spotlights OGIO's true area of expertise: detail work. Each of the company's 11 new offerings are the embodiment of how golfers play out of their bag. Short of including a six-pack, OGIO endeavors to predict and feed every need that will strike the course. OGIO's new and most significant universal feature is the Woode CMS (Club Management System). The Woode's logical design directs all woods vertically along the side when the bag is tilted on its legs, and organizes the remaining clubs in a "stadium seating" layout complete with a top-mounted Putter pit for the most-frequently used club. Ranging from $110.00 to $240.00 (SRP), OGIO's 2003 line includes:

Stand Bags:
The EXO, which features external framework;
The Novak, with nine pockets and a three-point handle;
The Shock, a sporty bag weighing six pounds;
The Probe: considered among the bag's most outrageously
designed models;
The Grom: one of the most fully featured bags at this price;
And the four-pound Kavinga - a great weekend/junior bag

Cart Bags:
The Boss Hogg: A behemoth of a back-boot cart bag;
The Diesel, a funky-looking bag with forward-facing design;
The Titan, which offers surgically clean lines and nine pockets;
The T-9, a woman-specific bag that offers a detachable tote;
And the V-12, OGIO's most popular-selling cart bag to date.

3)How - How does OGIO work?
To OGIO, a bag is more than a bag; it implies a lifestyle. For this reason, OGIO studies other industries traditionally motivated by breakthrough design and hot trends. Company executives have sought friendships and alliances with companies in the ski, snowboarding, motorcycle, and hardware industries. By incorporating these industries' non-traditional materials and technologies, they create more durable, unique and aesthetically appealing products.

4)Where - Where do you sell OGIO products?
OGIO products are sold through sporting goods retailers, green grass shops, online and at and sports specialty outlets worldwide. For more information or to locate a retailer, visit OGIO's web site at http://www.ogio.com, or call 800.922.1944.

5)When - When did you begin, and how long have you been in business?
OGIO was founded in 1987 and broke into golf bag design a decade later. For an industry mired in tradition, OGIO's design innovations were shocking. Other manufacturers, as old as the game itself, had a strong hold on the market and skeptics were convinced that OGIO was a fad. Today, the company has proven skeptics wrong, sustaining 100% growth year-over-year in the golf category. One-time competitors now contract with OGIO to design OEM lines; case-in-point: 80% of all Callaway stand bags
today feature the "OGIO Engineered" logo.

6)Why - Why should someone purchase Ahead products instead of the competition?
In just five short years, OGIO has become the nation's largest and most-often-copied golf bag company in the industry. But numbers alone are not a reason to purchase OGIO brand products. Because of the company's success, it remains dedicated to pushing the design envelope to assure that competitors are always forced to keep up, and moreover to guarantee that players have a comfortable, intelligent and stylish tool to deliver their hardware on the course.
