------------------------------------------------------------ Tip for the month of May - The Title Tag The Title of your web site is what appears in the top-left corner of the browser window. This is one of, if not the, most important tags when it comes to optimizing your site for the search engines. All of the search engines place a lot of importance on what appears in this tag. It only makes sense that the page is going to reflect whatever's included in the Title tag. The problem is, a lot of web sites still have the obligatory "Home Page" or "Welcome to Our Web Site" or worst of all "Untitled Document". These are great, if you are trying to rank well in the search engines for the key-phrases "home page" or "untitled document". Otherwise, they are a deterrent to your sites rankings, and should be replaced. What should they be replaced with? Words and phrases that your customers are going to be searching for to find you. If you're a golf course, have the name of the course listed first, then the city and state. Most people searching for golf in a particular area of the country are going to type in the name of the city, and terms like "golf" or "golf course" or "driving range". Make sure they can find you by optimizing your Title tag. Next month: More on the Title tag Tip of the Month is brought to you by Dan Perry of Online Golf Solutions, which has been helping golf courses and golf-related businesses market themselves online since 1999. He will be a guest speaker at the 2003 Spring ING (International Network of Golf) Conference at Keystone Resort in Colorado in June on the subject of marketing your golf business on the internet. For more information on the services they provide, including search engine optimization, email marketing, and golf course registry submission, please visit http://www.ogsgolf.com, or email him at dan@onlinegolfsolutions.com for a free quote. ------------------------------------------------------------ Who are you? How does the Golf Muscle Master work? Where is the Golf Muscle Master sold? When did you begin and how long have
you been in business? Why should someone purchase the Golf
Muscle Master? The Golf Muscle Master is the only weighted swing trainer with 1/2 of the total weight, 38ozs, in the bottom 1/3 of the club. A regular golf club is weighted this way. It is 38" long to help you feel the club head. Your game will be more consistent and you will stay on plane, be more flexible, stay balanced, and have added strength. "Swinging a weighted practice club will do more for your swing than a hundred swing-training gizmos combined," says Bob Toski in the August 2002 issue of Golf Digest. · The Golf Muscle Master develops
a consistent, repeating golf swing. The Golf Muscle Master is 38" long not shorter than a regular club like some swing trainers. Its middle range length will help you feel the club head. The Golf Muscle Master makes a great corporate or individual gift as you can choose your color, lettering, or corporate logo.
