SOUTH AKRON, Ohio (June 12, 2002) - Sonartec now can count another major
among its tour victories. At the Senior PGA Championship last week at
Firestone Country Club, a Sonartec 3-wood and 4-wood were in the bag
of the victor, according to the Darrell Survey.
Tour wins continue to mount for Sonartec. Last year's British Open winner relied on a Sonartec club for his victory, and Nick Price won last month's MasterCard Colonial with a Sonartec 3-wood. Price, winner of three majors and 41 tournaments worldwide, serves in an advisory capacity with Sonartec. In addition, Sonartec enjoyed eight worldwide victories within the last 60 days on the PGA Tour, the Senior PGA Tour, the Buy.com Tour, the European Tour, the Challenge Tour, the Japanese PGA Tour, and the Japan LPGA Tour all with Sonartec clubs in play.
