Fairway Systems Adds to Client List

Fairway Systems, Inc., recently added new clients to its portfolio, including: Gull Lake Resorts (Mich.), 5 golf courses; Atlantic Golf Management (Md.), 4 courses; City of Burnaby (British Columbia, Canada), 2 courses; Town of Castle Rock (Colo.), 1 course; City of Glen Cove (N.Y.), 1 course; City of Memphis (Tenn.), 7 courses; Miami-Dade County (Fla.), 5 courses; Middlesex County (N.J.), 3 courses; Monmouth County (N.J.), 7 courses; and Seattle (Wash.) Golf, 3 courses. The total value of the new contracts is $1,167,828.

"We are really excited to add these thirty-eight golf courses to our client list," said J. J. Keegan, president of Fairway Systems. "While they are diverse in their geographic location, ownership and clientele, they all have a common interest in maximizing their revenue, increasing their operational efficiency and enhancing their customer service."

As a software vendor, Englewood, Colo.-based Fairway Systems is using its technology and investing its own resources to benefit its clients financially during these tough economic times. E-Golf NetworkT (www.e-golf.net), launched April 15, 2002 by Fairway Systems, offers tee time reservation and handicap computational services, sponsors local amateur and Colorado PGA Section golf tournaments, and conducts surveys determining golfers' interests, all as a way of increasing incremental income at its clients' golf courses. The E-Golf regional cluster concept, in keeping with the objectives of The First Tee, 20-20 and the National Golf Foundation, helps encourage golfers on the fringes of the game to become active participants by providing a series of low cost services to attract and secure their interest.

Fairway Systems, established in 1989, is a leading designer of software for the golf industry, providing management support systems to hundreds of golf courses in five countries. Currently over 2 million golfers utilize Fairway Systems' reservation software. The Fairway solution is a fully-integrated, Windows-based system which leverages Oracle's distributed database and ASP architecture to provide comprehensive management solutions.
