ORLANDO, Fla. (May 13, 2002) – Inside Right, Inc., makers of golf
greeting and note cards, announces it will collaborate with Arnold Palmer
to create a special edition series of note cards featuring classic Palmer
images and quotes.
The cards will chronicle Palmer's life and love for the game of golf with vintage photos, along with witty and thought-provoking quotes from Palmer, his friends and other greats of the game. The first series will be made available later this year, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the cards will be donated to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women through Champions for Children, a major fundraiser for the Orlando, Fla.-based hospital.
"To work with Arnold Palmer is a great privilege because he is not only one of the great golfers of any era, but an even greater humanitarian," said Michael Jon Cohen, InsideRight CEO and founder. "We all know how great a player and person Palmer has been for the past six decades. We know the cards will capture the essence of who he is both on and off the course. The collection will be both creative and endearing."
The boxed series of 5-by-7-inch cards will include photos from Palmer's personal collection. As an example, a prototype card shows Palmer accepting a trophy after one of his 79 worldwide wins with the quote, "Win graciously."
As has become Inside Right's trademark, the cards will be of the highest quality graphics and photos, and printed on the same rich Chromekote 12-point, aqueous-coated stock as Inside Right's other award-winning collections.
The exclusive five-year agreement includes distribution of the cards throughout the United States and Europe.
