Introducing the World Business Golf Challenge (WBGC)
ATLANTA, GA - (Nov. 19 2002) - 4 person teams of amateurs compete in WBGC Local, Regional, National & International events to find the World Business Golf Challenge Champions.
As well as offering some of the world's finest golf team competition, on some of the world's finest courses, the WBGC series of events offers superb business networking opportunities, entertaining clients, potential clients & staff in an exceptional golf & business environment, with unique hospitality, incentive & motivational options.
The WBGC is an event designed for companies/organizations/entities to host days as a means of entertaining key clients, potential clients, suppliers & staff. It's Simple! Just register an existing golf day as a World Business Golf Challenge qualifying day. Or, of course, create a new event as a local qualifying event.
Teams compete in a 4 - person Modified Scramble. The top 25 teams from Local Area competitions will qualify for the Regional Finals. There are presently 8 Regional Finals.
The top foursome from each Regional Final go forward to the National Finals. Winners of National Finals compete in the 2003 World Final at the Home of Golf, St. Andrews, October 15 & 16, 2003. Winners of that become World Business Challenge World Champions.
The Diablo Grande Golf Resort & Spa, in California, will host a US Regional Final, and the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, will also host a US Regional Final, as well as the US Championship event. The St. Andrews Bay Golf Resort & Spa hosts the World Final. The World Final will alternate annually between the USA & Scotland/Ireland.
