CARLSBAD, CA - Two international distributors
in Canada and Puerto Rico have joined Sonartec Golf as part of the
major strides the young company is making to meet the growing demand
and popularity of their products around the world.
Erikson Golf, a division of JAM industries,
will distribute Sonartec Golf clubs to the Canadian market. Erikson
Golf has coast-to-coast sales coverage in Canada and two state-of-the-art
warehouse facilities in Montreal and Vancouver to ensure quality sales
and customer service with timely product distribution.
Sonartec will be a key strategic brand
for Erikson Golf and they anticipate strong acceptance of the Sonartec
brand by the Canadian golf consumer. Erikson Golf has a strong marketing
plan in place that will increase the awareness of the brand in Canada
and will give Canadian golfers the opportunity to try Sonartec's tour
proven products.
First Products Inc. will handle the distribution
of Sonartec Golf clubs into Puerto Rico. Lemuel Beauchamp, President
of First Products Inc., believes the innovative technology of the
clubs is what sets Sonartec apart from the rest of the industry.
"We were looking for a breakthrough
product that gives the serious golfer a competitive edge and we found
it in Sonartec," said Beauchamp." Golf needed a real innovation.
We have been seeing clubs get bigger, lighter, more forgiving, but
these companies have forgotten that besides these features, the committed
golfer wants performance and playability. Innovations like these really
make the difference."
The growing demand Sonartec Golf is receiving
on their high-end, high-performance clubs has sparked the need for
major worldwide distribution for the young, startup company based
in Carlsbad, CA. Sonartec currently has distribution networks established
in Australia, Taiwan, Sweden, Spain and the Philippines and plans
to form a distribution chain across the globe. Sonartec Golf recorded
their highest monthly revenues during March and enjoyed their best
first quarter sales in company history.
Sonartec Golf, maker of premium drivers,
fairway woods and utility woods, had over 1,200 clubs in play by 186
players on the PGA Tour during 2002 and has ranked as high as third
in the Darrell Survey fairway wood count on the 2003 PGA Tour. Sonartec's
professional staff includes 3-time Major Championship winner and company
advisor Nick Price, 7 -time PGA Tour winner Bill Glasson and PGA Tour
up-and-comer Cliff Kresge.
