Chuck Cook Golf Academy At Red Sky Golf Club
Now Open To Public
Beaver Creek, Colo.-June 19, 2003-Golf enthusiasts of all ages and abilities can experience two- or three-day golf clinics at Red Sky Golf Club, located 15 minutes west of Beaver Creek, Colo. Nationally renowned golf instructor Chuck Cook operates Colorado's only year-round premier golf academy, which opened to the public earlier this month at Red Sky Golf Club. The world-class instructional facility has been integrated into the design of the new Greg Norman course and the Tom Fazio course.
"Now that the academy is open to the public, locals and out-of-town guests can enjoy specialized attention from one of the top golf teachers in the world," said Jeff Hanson, director of golf for Red Sky Golf Club.
Chuck Cook was named by Golf Digest as one of the "Top Ten Greatest Teachers" in 2002 and one of the top 50 teachers of the 20th century. Known as the "teacher's teacher," Cook has taught four U.S. Open champions and several U.S. and British Amateur Champions. In 1996, PGA of America named him "Teacher of the Year."
The Chuck Cook Golf Academy features customized classroom and practice area instruction, including a 350-yard, double-ended practice facility and a short game area with three specialized greens. The programs include play on Colorado's first Greg Norman course, scheduled to open June 30, 2003, and the Tom Fazio course, which opened last summer and was named in the March 2003 issue of Golf Magazine as one of "The Top 10 Courses You Can Play."
This summer's series of two- and three-day clinics cover all phases of the game, including full swing, short game, on-course play and club fitting. State-of-the-art laser club fitting and measurement technology along with thorough individual and equipment evaluations are all used to improve one's golf game.

Price of a two-day academy clinic is $1195. Price of a three-day academy clinic is $1895. Price includes all phases of the game instruction including putting, short game, bunkers, pitching and full-swing; video instruction; take-home video; on-course play instruction on either the Tom Fazio course or Greg Norman course; daily lunch and refreshments and a complimentary gift bag.
Two-day Clinic Package
Golfers can experience a two-day clinic and stay at The Pines Lodge
in Beaver Creek, a RockResort and member of Preferred Hotels &
Resorts Worldwide, for two nights. Package is $1393 per person and
is available now through Sept. 22, 2003. Package is based on single

The academy offers its services to the public. The Greg Norman Course
and Tom Fazio Course at Red Sky Golf Club are open to Club Members
and their guests, as well as guests of Vail Resorts' owned and managed
properties. Red Sky Golf Club resort guest play and member play alternates
between the two courses daily.
