Matrix Golf To Simplify USGA Tournaments
NORTH PALM BEACH, FL (March 6, 2003) - Matrix Golf, Inc., http://www.MatrixGolf.com, announced today that the U.S. Patent Office has allowed a patent for its revolutionary Matrix SSTM golf tournament format. The Matrix SSTM enables tournament officials to determine qualifiers, official player rankings and state and national champion(s) at multiple sites, eliminating the necessity to travel to a single site.

The Matrix SSTM tournament methodology enables tournament officials to compare winners' scores at multiple sites on an equitable basis to determine qualifiers, official player rankings and state and national champion(s). The Matrix SSTM normalizes USGA course and slope ratings, which evaluate the overall difficulty of a golf course under normal course and weather conditions; and introduces a new formula that adjusts scores according to 'current' weather conditions the golfers encounter on tournament day(s).
