Dynamic Golf Academy Debuts in Athens, GA
MIDLOTHIAN, Va. (May 9, 2003) - Dynamic Golf Technology, LLC, maker of The Trainer, announced the opening of the Dynamic Golf Academy, Inc., in Athens, Ga. Marc DeSisto, PGA golf professional and vice president of Dynamic Golf Technology, will be director of the Academy and the head instructor.
"Using The Trainer in the Academy combines golf swing mechanics and golf fitness improvement at the same time," DeSisto said. "The fact that students practice with The Trainer outside of their private and evaluation lessons allows for faster learning with immediate feedback to create and maintain a proper golf swing."
The Dynamic Golf Academy is located at A & F Driving Range in Athens, where a pro shop, covered bay and grass hitting areas, grass teeing area, short game area and putting green are available. Academy lessons include private individual slow-motion video instruction, evaluation practice lessons, one-day short game schools and one-day full on-course playing lessons. Every student will receive a Trainer with the instructional program, making swing changes first with The Trainer and then transferring those changes to the golf swing.
"The Academy offers players the opportunity to enhance their golf learning potential through use of The Trainer, thereby improving not only their golf-specific skills but also their overall enjoyment of the game through increased golf fitness," said Jeremy Aisenberg, president of Midlothian, Va.-based Dynamic Golf Technology.
The Trainer is both a golf training and fitness device. It is in use by numerous touring professionals on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours in their practice regimens, including Trainer staff professionals Donna Caponi, Jim Colbert, Ben Crane, Bruce Fleisher, Jackie Gallagher-Smith, Mike Hulbert, James McLean, Carl Paulson and Robert Wrenn. The Trainer is a variable weight and centripetal force swing training tool adjustable to the progression of a golfer's skills. It helps golfers of every skill level develop the essential fundamentals of a precise, powerful, repeatable and natural golf swing that remains on plane, is square at impact and transmits the optimum amount of force to obtain desirable distance and control. Available in several sizes to accommodate men, women and juniors, The Trainer features weight levels which may be added and secured to the shaft at any of three positions, generating an effective, variable radius. A variety of supplemental weights also is offered, providing an almost limitless potential for adjusting the weight and force generated.
To introduce The Trainer to young golfers, DeSisto was invited to conduct junior golf clinics last month at both the PGA Tour's BellSouth Classic and the LPGA Tour's Chick-Fil-A Charity Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez.
