Ligouri, Laurance Will Emcee ING Spring Conference

Nationally known TV personalities Mitch Laurance and Ann Liguori will team to handle Masters Of Ceremony duties at the 15th Anniversary ING Spring Conference May 22-26.

The historic annual gathering of media and business leaders has chosen an historic site –the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL, to host this conference. The International Network Of Golf, a non-profit media-based networking organization, conducts the conference.

Laurance, President of Ace Productions of Conway, SC, has done numerous golf broadcasting projects over the years, including the On The Green video magazine in Myrtle Beach. Laurance is well known as billiards commentator for ESPN. He has also appeared in several TV dramas and movies over the years, most recently as a teacher on Dawson's Creek. He has served as Master of Ceremonies at several ING events.

Liguori is a nationally renowned TV and radio personality in New York. She produces and hosts the " Sports Innerview with Ann Liguori" syndicated cable show. She is one of only two original WFAN Radio sports talk show hosts still on the air at the New York station, which was the first in the nation to go to an all-sports format in 1987. Her Sunday evening show (9pm-1am) features interviews with top sports personalities, including athletes, coaches, columnists and agents, plus a live chat session (on annliguori.com), as well as calls from listeners. She has published a book - "A Passion for Golf - Celebrity Musings About the Game" featuring a collection of interviews she has done while on the golf course with some of the most successful celebrities in sports, Hollywood, music and business.

Laurance and Liguori will combine to introduce all the various elements of the ING Spring Conference, starting with the Orientation Dinner and Fashion Show Sunday night, May 22 at the World Golf Hall Of Fame.

The educational aspects of the ING Spring Conference begin Monday morning, May 23 with the Communications 101 Topics Breakfast. Small groups of 10 people will discuss topics over breakfast. Subjects include instruction, golf shafts, print costs, regional magazines, golf course architecture and more.

The ING Spring Conference also includes the One-On-One Appointment Show, where private meetings are scheduled for media and business leaders so win-win programs can be developed.

The ING Demo Lab allows attendees to test the newest products, educational sessions provide job skill enhancement opportunities for attendees, and social events allow for outstanding networking time.

And there are golf events, including the International Paris World Finals Qualifier, from which the winning team will receive an expenses-paid trip to Wales for the I.P. World Finals.
