The Green Friendly Golf Company Attracts International Attention At The 2006 PGA Show
Providence, RI, Feb 06, 2006 The Green Friendly Golf Belt, the "world's first golf belt with a divot tool and ball marker in the tip," received tremendous reviews from the media, retailers and golf professionals at the recently concluded PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Attendance at this year's PGA Show was estimated at over 40,000, with more than 900 media from around the world covering this year's event.
The Green Friendly Belt was was one of the most talked about products at this year's show and was featured each day on the Golf Channel's daily coverage from the show floor. The reviews from the Golf Channel announcers and Golf Digest fashion "guru" Marty Hackel were extremely positive. The international media also showed great interest in the belt and are in the process of writing feature articles on the Green Friendly Belt.
The Green Friendly Belt is the world’s first golf belt to combine fashion and function on the golf course. The quality leather belt has a precision- engineered divot tool and ball marker built right into its tip, combining an elegant look with two of the key accessories a golfer needs for success on the green. The Green Friendly Belt also brings “Essential Etiquette” back to the game as it makes it easier for players to repair ball marks on the green.
While in Orlando, the company also debuted its new signature ladies line of belts, which come in several vibrant colors. Big Break III television star and Futures Tour player Pam Crikelair was on hand at the Green Friendly Golf Company booth to help officially launch the new ladies line.
The Green Friendly Golf Company now turns its attention to the Golf Industry Show in Atlanta at which it will announce the "Essential Green Repair Program" for golf course superintendents.
The Green Friendly Belt has already been recognized by the Golf Course Superintendents Association and is endorsed by the Professional Caddies Association. In partnership with the company's national on-course distributor, Datrek Miller International, the Green Friendly Belt is also endorsed by PGA Retirement Plus.
